IAHE Scholarships

Scholarship opportunities available to IAHE members and their immediate families, supporting both engineering and other academic pursuits.

Statewide Scholarships

The Illinois Association of Highway Engineers offers annual scholarship awards to eligible members and their immediate family members. These scholarships reflect the Association's commitment to supporting the educational goals of the transportation community.

Scholarship availability, award amounts, and application deadlines are announced through local chapters and the IAHE website. Both engineering-focused awards and general academic scholarships may be offered.

Chapter Scholarships

Several local IAHE chapters administer their own scholarship programs. The Paris Chapter (Chapter 5), for example, has historically offered multiple awards to members and their families.

In 2016, the Paris Chapter offered three $500 scholarships:

  • Two scholarships for students pursuing engineering majors (civil or computer engineering)
  • One scholarship open to any IAHE member or immediate family member enrolled in any curriculum at an accredited college or university

Eligibility

Scholarship eligibility typically extends to:

  • Current IAHE members in good standing
  • Immediate family members of IAHE members (spouses, children, and dependents)
